Our story
It started with one small roaster and a stubborn idea.
In 2016 we bought a second-hand drum roaster, cleared out a garage, and set out to make coffee we’d be proud to hand to anyone.

Chapters
How a garage turned into a roastery.
2016
The first batch
A second-hand roaster, a borrowed garage, and a lot of burnt beans. We learned the craft one batch at a time.
2019
Closer to the source
We started travelling to the farms we buy from, building long relationships and paying prices that let the work last.
2024
A home for the roast
We opened the doors of our Old Town roastery and bar, so you can watch the roasting and taste the results.
What we believe
A few simple rules we won’t bend.
01
Patience over speed
Good coffee can’t be rushed — not in the roast, not in the brew, and not in the way we run the place.
02
Clarity over noise
We keep our menu short and our sourcing open, so you always know what’s in your cup and where it’s from.
03
People over volume
We’d rather grow slowly and treat farmers, staff and neighbours well than chase scale for its own sake.
Meet the people behind the roast.
